| Rockingham County has taken a big step towards building the new Madison-Mayodan Public Library!
Rockingham County officials received approval from the Local Government Commission to finance the funding and construction should be completed by fall 2013.
The new library will include an enlarged genealogy room, community room, children’s room, computer lab, and up-to-date networking. The facility will provide literacy classes, basic computer classes, and health education programs.

The pavers will be placed in the front of the new library along with the inscriptions. For more information about the pavers, please contact Sue Joyce at 336.548.9720 or Rosa McCombs at 336.427.5108.Paver forms are available at the Madison Library, the Mayodan Library and the Friends Bookstore in Mayodan.
