Upcoming Programs

Story Time for Preschool and early readers is at 10:30 on Tuesdays in Reidsville, Wednesdays in Mayodan, Thursdays in Eden and Fridays in Stoneville.

Computer classes are held every week at the Eden Library
and on an occasional basis at the Madison and Reidsville locations. Click on our Upcoming Computer Classes Link for dates and times or call your local libray.

Eden Public Library

Adult Needlecrafters SocialMondays at 1:00 p.m.

  • Socialize with other needle crafters. Bring something to work on with you to the social. Learn more about needlecraft and/ or teach what you know to others.

Adult Coloring SocialTuesdays at 2:00 p.m.

  • Relax, have fun and socialize with other coloring enthusiasts.
  • Materials will be provided by the library but feel free to bring your own coloring pages and/or pencils.

Baby Time at the Eden LibraryThursdays at 11:15 a.m.

  • Newborns and toddlers can join us in this 15 minute program.
  • Babies will gain contact with language through stories, rhymes, wiggles, and giggles.
  • Help your baby take their first steps toward literacy and a lifelong love of books.

Arduino ClubFridays at 4 p.m.

  • Join the Arduino Club and learn how to code and use Arduino.
  • What would you make?
  • This is a free program intended for teens grades 6 and up.
  • To register call 336-623-3168 or sign up at the circulation desk.

Teen Library Council Meeting – Thursday September 13th, at 4 p.m.

  • The TLC is an organization made up of teen volunteers who help out with library programs and make suggestions for future young adult programs.
  • We’ll be playing Minute to Win It style games and discussing ways to redecorate the teen area of the library. Come have some snacks and maybe win a prize.
  • Teens ages 13-18 are welcome to attend.

Teen Movie NightThursday September 13th, at 5 p.m.

  • The Library will be showing episodes from season 3 of Netfix’s TrollHunters Series.

Lego ClubThursday September 20th, at 4:00 p.m.

  • Collaborate with other Master Builders on designs or try the special building challenge.
  • Display your finished product in our display case.

Bingo for BooksThursday September 20th, at 6:00 p.m.

  • Prizes: Seasonally themed book gift baskets and $25 grand prize gift card.
  • This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library and is intended for our adult patrons.

  • Join us for an afternoon of rock painting and fun!
  • The library will be providing the rocks and acrylic paint but feel free to bring your own rock.
  • This program is free and open to patrons of all ages

Family Board GamesSaturday September 29th, at 10:30 a.m.

  • Play your favorite board games at the library! Bring your own or borrow one of ours.
