Story Time for Preschool and early readers is at 10:30 on Tuesdays in Reidsville, Wednesdays in Mayodan, Thursdays in Eden and Fridays in Stoneville.

Computer classes are held every week at the Eden Library
and on an occasional basis at the Madison and Reidsville locations. Click on our Upcoming Computer Classes Link for dates and times or call your local libray.

Eden Public Library

Adult Needlecrafters SocialMondays at 1:00 p.m.

  • Socialize with other needle crafters. Bring something to work on with you to the social. Learn more about needlecraft and/ or teach what you know to others.

Adult Coloring SocialTuesdays at 2:00 p.m.

  • Relax, have fun and socialize with other coloring enthusiasts.
  • Materials will be provided by the library but feel free to bring your own coloring pages and/or pencils.

Baby Time at the Eden LibraryThursdays at 11:15 a.m.

  • Newborns and toddlers can join us in this 15 minute program.
  • Babies will gain contact with language through stories, rhymes, wiggles, and giggles.
  • Help your baby take their first steps toward literacy and a lifelong love of books.

Eden Library Book ClubWednesday November 7th, at 2:00 p.m.

  • This month the book club will be Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng.
  • Next month’s book is The Chilbury Ladies Choir by Jennifer Ryan.

Teen Library Council MeetingThursday November 8th, at 4 p.m.

  • The TLC is an organization made up of teen volunteers who help out with library programs and make suggestions for future young adult programs.
  • Teens ages 13-18 are welcome to attend.

Teen Movie NightThursday November 8th at 5 p.m.

  • Movie: TBA

Friends of the Eden Library Fall Book SaleFriday November 9th until Saturday November 17th

  • Fill up a Bag of Books for $5
  • Buy a Library Tote Bag and Fill it up for $10
  • The library will be closed November 12th.

Saturday Family Program with Ms. MarySaturday November 10th, at 10:30 a.m.

  • Enjoy a story and craft with Ms. Mary.
  • This program is free and open to patrons of all ages.

Lego ClubThursday November 15th, at 4:00 p.m.

  • Collaborate with other Master Builders on designs or try the special building challenge.
  • Display your finished product in our display case.

Movie NightMonday November 19th, at 5:30 p.m.

  • Movie: Won’t You be My Neighbor?
  • Rating: PG-13

Food for Fines Starts Monday November 26th and Ends Monday December 31st

Pajama Story TimeThursday November 29th at 5 p.m.

  • Come in your pajamas for stories, songs, and crafts all about dragons!
  • Fun for the whole family.
  • This story time is geared for all ages, takes less than 45 minutes and is free to attend.

Make Your Own 9 Inch Lighted Tree Ball(s)Saturday December 1st from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m.

  • Colors Available: Clear, Red, Blue, Green, Multi
  • To register sign up at the circulation desk.
  • This program is intended for patrons 16 & up.
  • Make a 9 Inch Light Ball with 1 Strand of Lights for $5.
  • If you don’t want to make your own light ball you can Order a 9 Inch Light Ball with 1 Strand of Lights for $10 and/or a 18 Inch Light Ball with 2 Strands of Lights for $20.
  • If you are pre-ordering a light ball and would like to pick up your ball before November 21st please place your order before November 10th.
  • Payments must be made in advance.
  • All proceeds will be given to the Friends of the Eden Library.
